The Miami-Dade County Residential Curbside Recycling program now includes plastic to-go cups and paper cups. The county's recyclable materials processor (WM. formerly known as Waste Management) has added these additional items to the list of recyclables throughout the entire Miami-Dade County Residential Curbside Recycling program area, including Palmetto Bay. Residents may immediately begin recycling plastic to-go cups and paper cups in their blue recycling carts to increase diversion of materials from landfills or incineration. A complete, updated list of recyclable materials can be found on the "Recycling at Home" tab on the county's website under the Solid Waste Management Department section.
