(Sponsored by Councilmember Marsha Matson)
This initiative sounds like a wonderful and impactful way to support both pets and seniors! Ensuring that seniors can care for their animal companions during emergencies. This proposal has the potential to create a positive effect in the Palmetto Bay community, helping to improve the quality of life for seniors while also ensuring that pets are well cared for during challenging times.
Thank you
Supporting lower-income seniors in their efforts to address their companions health issues is a worthwhile use of Village funds. Many seniors rely on these animals for emotional support and companionship. The county provides ONLY preventive services such as vaccinations and spay/neuter, and many seniors cannot afford this critical care.
Great Idea.
I support Item !4 I that adopts the SAVE program for our Palmetto Bay lower income seniors and their pets. Thank you.
