Additional signage in this part of Palmetto Bay will detract from our neighborhood's ambiance and charm. This additional signage will be jarring and disrupt the visual cohesion that Palmetto Bay residents and visitors appreciate. It will introduce an unwelcome commercial tone that clashes with the organic charm that Palmetto Bay is striving to maintain.
This part of Palmetto Bay is already experiencing excessive traffic. Many times there have been cars racing through the street – some even blasting their music or throwing trash onto our lawns. We are already feeling the effects of over commercialization in this area. Additional signage will only add to it. Plus it will lessen our property values and take away from our neighborhood’s look and feel. Palmetto Bay is already letting us down – don’t let this be another way to let us down.
